You know what I mean. Lee was just a lightly used bench player. Pierce was a (great) freshman role player. That team was Tosan/Langborg led.
Pierce a role player??? He started from game 1. Indispensable as tosan, langborg etc.

He wasn’t the star player that he was as a soph. He was a great role player (8ppg/7rpg). Tosan and Langborg were the lead stars.

But the Red Storm certainly keeps representing you well, Doctor - got to ease that pain a lot. And they’ll still be playing, long after the Bulldogs are sent back to the kennel!
SRP - couldn’t have said it better. I posted somewhere similar sentiments - thst it’s better to have the stability of a very good coach for a long time than consistently having ro replace a great coach every few years - that absorbs resources too - and I think stability helps reassure administration to devote resources to the program.

I want to see this team play in the NCAA tournament and Mitch couldn’t do that with TWO all-time Princeton talents in Lee and Pierce. He also didn’t get it done in 2022 with Llewellyn, Wright, Tosan, Friberg, Langborg.
You’ve made a very similar comment about a dozen times. Almost nobody else who roots for Princeton agrees with you. Give it a rest.
Interestingly, under 15 seasons under Carmody, Thompson, Scott and Johnson - with coaching changes after 4,4,3 and 4 years - Princeton has a combined Ivy League record of 148-63 or .701. Henderson in 13 seasons has a record of 127-55 or .697.
