Looks pretty good, i know his prep school histpry and sojurn at Coastal Carolina. Does he have Power Five nil big bucks potential or even nfl?
I’d say he’s improving. He’s not as mobile as recent Yale quarterbacks, which has presented some challenges. Early on he also wasn’t as accurate as I had expected but that seems to be improving. Yale hasn’t had its full group of ends playing together (Shipp has missed much of the season and I think Brown missed a game when Shipp played) which has presumably had an impact. Not sure of the prognosis on Shipp.
And Dante was at the University of South Carolina, not Coastal Carolina.
I’d guess he’ll stay at Yale to play for his dad unless he really improves next season and can attract an exorbitant payday for his senior year. He got recruited over at South Carolina. Pretty rare for an Elite 11 alumni to make their way into the Ivy League though.
thanks for the 411
if “nothing” else ,three successful years, graduation then a well paid grad year in a qb room much like the recent basketball players
Mbaprof: I think you are right that Dante has three years of Ivy eligibility (including this season) but another year of NCAA eligibility since he was redshirted at South Carolina last year. Here’s hoping that he plays so well at Yale that there is a big NIL awaiting him then.
