It would be very secret. And not only secret, but the first time it’s ever happened.
Recruiting to Hanover has never been easy and with NIL/transfer era it’s only getting harder. I understand why McLaughlin was let go; but, as you say, seeing a road to improvement is challenging.
Football and hockey are priorty sports on the mens side up in Hanover.
But student attendance at all sporting events seems to be down (not just in Hanover either btw).
agree it would take a few decisive actions by the administration to alter the trajectory of the program to maintain consistency. Coaching style will be important as kids will be interested in what they think their numbers could be in a situation. There is more alumni involvment and interest thanks to efforts initiated by Coach McLaughlin and the staff over the past few years. Would definitely like to see that continue to grow.
All those names are good ones from what my limited sources tell me. I know one of them personally and would welcome him there for sure. others i have heard great things about from people who were recruited by them, played for them or coached against them. so excited to see how it ends up.
Any thoughts on Brett MacConnell or Klatsky?
