And Stephens same class.

Possible very good news in the “Make Shots” podcast.

Happy: The best part is, our whole team is gonna be back next year.
Abdullahi: Yeah.
Stanton: The entire team will be back.

It might be too early to make such a promise (especially for Dalen), but it’s clearly something the players have discussed and saying it out loud suggests we can run it back with the same group next year. No transfer portal losses would be such a boon.

Recognize that Penn and Penn sports have always embraced transfers to bolster teams and academic classes. In the glory days we had andy toole, matt maloney, perry bromwell and more recently juco caleb wood. As an institution Penn has always taken strong transfers including a good portion of my Class (including me), Elon Musk! and other notables.

Perhaps the institutional historically different philosophies have something to do, in part, with pure logistics. A school in the city is less constrained by housing limitations that affect class size.

I can also think of another currently prominent former UP transfer who needs no further publicity, but we all have crosses to bear.

Back in my day, it wasnt that hard to transfer in to wharton undergrad, they had lots of kids that got in that couldnt cut the core courses which were graded on steep curves. Not the case anymore
