I haven’t followed the lawsuits and the NCAA reaction; is it clear that the 2026 graduates who have played all four years are eligible to play a fifth year? At one point, I thought that might be limited to those who sought that right early in the process.
Also, can we get the media to give credit to more than one undergraduate institution when a player goes pro? Danny Wolf is listed as a Michigan player despite playing there only one year after two at Yale. If Nick made it to the NBA, it would be even more extreme to see him listed under Stanford after playing four years at Yale. It’s not the most important issue in the world, but it would benefit the Ivies in terms of visibility with potential recruits to get appropriate credit for players like Wolf (and Townsend if he made it that far).

media aside, i do think the coaches relentlessly pitch this to recruits as they should.
Maybe we should have a rule where player uniforms should display the patches of the schools where they previously played. That would be entertaining.
