Allocco heroics for Notre Dame

“When Markus Burton fouled out during the fourth overtime of Notre Dame’s game against Cal, it was Matt Allocco who stepped up for the Fighting Irish. Allocco hit three three-pointers in the fourth overtime, including what would be the game winning basket with 15.3 seconds left in the game. He finished the game with 24 points on 9-18 shooting, including 4-9 on three-pointers. He also had three rebounds and three assists in the game.”

UNC blew out ND in the ACC tournament. Allocco basically was never allowed to run the offense and rarely touched the ball. But he did hit like 3-5 from three on a day where the Irish collectively couldn’t hit almost any treys.
