A good sign for Gosselin?
Looks like!!
Good news and bad news for
today. The bad news first: Lauren Dillon and Lilly Paro are leaving Old Nassau to join Carla Berube’s staff at Northwestern. That’s great for NU, LD and LP, but another big blow for the Tigers. Now the good news: It looks as though Lauren Gosselin is NOT headed to Evanston, which likely means she will become the 11th coach of Princeton women’s basketball. If true, that would be something to celebrate.
All signs point to LB, but until there’s an official announcement, I won’t be comfortable.
I wonder if St. Rose joins Berube.
Not if she wants to win and probably get paid more at a higher profile program. Will take time for Berube at northwestern.
I guess when a school has Google money, making its first Sweet 16 in over 25 years isn’t good enough.
That’s exactly why I think an Ivy job, men’s or women’s, at a school that actually supports basketball is one of the best jobs in the sport. It may not come with P4 money, but right now, the P4 may not be the best place to coach.
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia Athletics announced today (April 4) Amaka Agugua-Hamilton will not return as head coach of the women’s basketball program.
Agugua-Hamilton finished her four-year tenure at UVA with a 70-58 record, including a 29-42 mark in ACC play.
**A national search will begin immediately.

Just saw that a couple minutes ago.
Have to believe Carrie Moore is on their short list. Ditto Griffith if she’ll listen.
I’ve been told it is due to abuse of staff. This year’s run has been great, but it is also true that the general results are not near what Virginia aims for and the commitment they have for wbb
Easily the best job available this cycle. Has everything an ambitious coach would want. Can’t comment on Moore but would expect Meg to have interest.
The other newly open job is Georgia - Its been 25+ years since their Final Four … but there is history and a lot of SEC football $$
Addie Micir has recommitted to Lehigh.
