Princeton -4.5
Must win game after losing both road games, but their spirit might be broken after Monday.
This team should be 4-0. They just can’t calm their nerves on the road.
I’ve given up hope on this season but I hope they all come back as promised and dominate next season. I think they can do it.
Tiger fans never, ever, ever, “give up”. Never.
In the early going it seems like Brown is the weakest team in the league. You guys should be fine.
If you were a fan of the women’s team, you’d know why you never give up hope.
To get to ILT this is surely a must win game. 8-6 should do it but I don’t see us finishing with a better record. Hope Davis feels better
“One game at as time” is a cliche for a reason. Let’s get this one!
Will watch the game on my phone, as I must attend my granddaughter’s soccer game at the same time as the basketball game, since the time was moved up. May not reach 70 degrees today here in Arizona.
They moved up her soccer game because it might not be 70 degrees?!
They hold on this time with defense and FT shooting.
Hicke says they worked on it during the week, but since it’s at home, I can’t tell if they made any progress. They did finally attempt two homerun passes to break the press and got a Malik dunk and Landon layup miss. Keep it up.
Dalen is a warrior. He’s clearly playing through the pain but doing a great job anyway. Gets to the line, battles through screens.
Hicke is playing at a POY level. If they even took 1 of 2 last weekend, he’d be a favorite.
Good close.out today. Great at the stripe and broke the press!
Despite Clark’s layup miss, I want them to keep trying those homerun/fast break attempts late.
Worst case scenario, it keeps the defense honest and they have to bring the ball up the court. Best case scenario, you get an easy dunk like Abdullahi got and a huge energy boost.
But I need to see them do it on the road. The first 35 minutes on the road don’t rattle them at all. But once the press comes, it’s total meltdown time.
Solid win by the Tigers. With 5 to play, you could feel tension building in Jadwin but the Tigers just kept knocking down free throws to finish strong.
Brown’s #40 is the latest in a long line of shot blocker/rebounders for the Bears. They will win some games they aren’t supposed to this year.
No the soccer game was always at 10; when the Princeton game moved to noon Eastern, it conflicted.
Harvard and Dartmouth fall short in their late comeback bids (though Harvard was up 16 in the first half).
Cornell and Columbia looked just liked our guys melting down… until a single basket changed everything. It’s amazing how one bucket stops the bleeding and breaks the other team.
Mitch has to work on getting some easy looks out of late timeouts.
Those blocked shots were killers.
Oh, ok ![]()
Agreed. The “Princeton can’t finish” trollers should now shut up.
One game doesn’t mean people are “trolls” or should “shut up”. The history is the history. While (as far as I know) we all hope the team is making sustained progress, it’s a fair question whether that’s the case. We will see.
Certainly the inability of Brown to make 3-pointers at the end of the game helped us become better finishers.
