Christian Humphrey-Rembert

Former Brown commit now commits to Lafayette College. They went 7-11 in the Patriot League last year. Could they possibly have ponied up a pile of NIL money? Small school. Probably higher profile had he gone to Brown. Can’t say I follow the logic here.

What do you mean by a “pile”. At this level, an athletic scholarship and $30-$40,000 will get you a prospect

Could also have been a financial aid-based decision (scholarship at Lafayette vs. no scholarship at Brown), an admissions issue (I’m not trying to suggest that Lafayette is a bad school by any stretch of the imagination; just suggesting that admissions standards for an athlete might be different at a school with an acceptance rate of 30% versus a school with a 5% acceptance rate), or just figured the grass was greener elsewhere - worth noting that Humphrey-Rembert was initially committed to Howard, before decommitting and committing to Brown.

I think he would’ve been an exciting addition, but I still like the rest of the guys in the class, especially Langham, who was selected to the Capital Classic alongside some guys headed to Power 5 schools.
