The way I look at it is that the NCAA"S loss is the NIT’s gain. This year’s Columbia Women Basketball team has one of the best basketball players in the country in Riley Weiss, two outstanding front court players in Perri Page and Susie Rafiu, and a dynamic point guard in Mia “Cousy” Broom. Super talented athletes like Hilke Feldrappe, Fliss Henderson and Nasi Simmons are Ready to make an impact. And, then of course, Coach Griffith is a Winner! So, the heck with the NCAA Tournament and all of its absurdities! Let’s Go Ladies and Win the NIT!

BTW: Columbia will be playing in the WBIT - a tournament run by the NCAAs. When the WBIT came into existence, the Ivies stopped accepting WNIT bids - as the Ivies only play in NCAA run tournaments.
