Columbia

I’m pretty sure I have copy of the game on DVD.

Stanton had a deflection that led to a Columbia turnover, a three to cut it to 4, got called for marginal block/charge call, had a great steal that led to a three point shot that rattled in and out. Definitely gave them a spark down the stretch.

This aged well.

Funny you mention the 2/9/99 Penn game. I was joking with Jon Solomon at halftime that we had a chance if we could insert Ahmed El-Nokali to start the second half.

Jack Stanton is the new El-Nokali?

Following yesterday’s failure, Princeton is 5-10-1 ATS this season, (D3 games were NL).

They are 1-6 when favored by 7 points or more,

How does one “tie” against the spread when it is given in half points?

Not every game is quoted in 1/2 points. Books like 1/2 points because it guarantees a winner and a loser but will adjust after the open to attract more action.

Rewatched the final 8 minutes and the most ridiculous 3 of all may have been this ~35 footer from Blake Peters:

What a great game from Blake (14 pts and 8 rebs). Made his last 3 attempts from deep.

I’ll have to rewatch it at some point. It will be less agonizing knowing how it came out, and that crazy run at the end was glorious.

Thanks for posting that; I had forgotten that great shot after Xavian made his.

Mitch on the sidelines did not even flinch.

BTW, Xavian needs to learn a high floater to shoot against the bigs down low!
