Really impressive win. It helped that Cornell missed some shots they usually make, but we did a good job staying with them on the perimeter and limiting their open looks.
We started off hot, then really cooled off for most of the first half, before Barbour went nuclear in the second half. That was maybe the most surprising thing: we made our big run with Hinton on the bench. Mannino made some nice, aggressive drives during that stretch; we’re going to need that from him going forward if, as seems likely, Hunt doesn’t come back this year.
The big picture is, for the first time since the pandemic, we locked up a spot in Ivy Madness. Feels good. Seems almost certain that we’ll play Penn in the semis.
Want to keep the momentum going into March, so next week’s trip to the Ps is still massive.
