Penn Fans: There’s a lot of justified talk about Donohue getting the boot. Can anyone comment on some of the off-court factors that are important please? When is his contact up? Is the school likely to buy him out? Does the AD have the same expectations that Penn fans have for the program? Or is being mediocre with the potential for some success ok now? Aside from the recruiting and coaching issues, I’m just curious about some of these issues that are often as important.
He’s done. On comes Klatsky.
I think he returns
He’s absolutely toast. You don’t survive back-to-back 7th place finishes and seeing your best player transfer out three seasons in a row.
If he knock the Tigers out of the postseason on the last day of league play he might save his job.
I got more intel today which says he is likely out. Nothing is going to save him short of a miracle run to Ivy Madness.
He’s done. Come on now.
If Steve leaves,id love to see Klatsky get a d1 shot in the Palestra
Rumor mill seems to have Klatsky as the favorite with Langel being contacted. Would love to see Kingsley and Simon looked at it but Columbia may be a more likely scenario there.
The possibility of a miracle officially ended last night in the exact same fashion as a slew of close loses. Fall way behind, catch up and even pull ahead, cant make foul shots, cant execute key offensive possesions
Has the AD said anything about Donohue? Has she even been asked? Just wondering.
ESPN’s Jeff Borzello just published an article firmly identifying both Donahue and Jim Engles as coaches on the hot seat.
He didn’t need to. I did a while ago. They are done. Remember Klatsky. And look to Kyle Smith assistants and also an existing Ivy assistant.
Not exactly unknown candidates here.
I hope Brett M stays at Princeton but i have believe he would love to get a head coaching job. He has looked around several times.
Has Penn thought about having the team unionize instead of dumping SD?
