Fliss is back!

Fliss Henderson is back on the roster for 2025-2026. She was shown prominently in a recent WBB twitter post. She is tough and will be a big asset inside as we need to make up for the rebounds lost by the graduation of sister Kitty and CeCe. She is also skilled around the basket and is a good passer. The return of Fliss gives us a better chance to challange Princeton for the regular season title in the upcomong season.

On a related note, Kitty was on the Great Britain team in EuroBasket, started all three games (all losses), and averaged 9 points, 7 rebounds and 3+ assists per game

She is still recovering from back problems, so she seems to be doing individual training only. I don’t know if she is going to be fully ready for the start of the season but I hope she can gain confidence and a considerable role on the team as the season moves on.

Hilke Feldrappe had also considerable contributions for a quite good Germany team (5th in Europe) coming as a wing out of the bench. Cholopoulou was also part of the Greek team although she barely play after the first friendly matches. She also recently played the U18 Euro Champs being the starter point guard of the team and having significant contributions with 11.5 PPG, 4.8 RPG, 3.2 APG. Arebola is also playing the U19 world cup with Spain, with residual contributions on a highly stacked team. Overall a very valuable international experience for a bunch of our players.
