Xavian, Xavian, where do you roam?
Same starting lineup as last game: Davis, Lee, Pierce, Abdullahi, Byriel.
Woeful start on the defensive glass. Furman scores on three straight offensive rebounds to go up 7-0.
Furman coming out tight defense, very “handsy”; just what our guys have trouble with.
Missing some wide-open shots too. Early start + road game = rusty start
This game has the feel of the Wright State game.
Nothing falling. Opposition looks sharp as heck.
Worst case scenario. We can’t buy a shot and Furman is tuned up sharp.
I don’t even think they’re defending poorly today. And only 1-2 missed rebounds they should have gotten.
They just can’t make any open shots.
Tigers shooting 8%. Paladins shooting 50%
A missed bunny layup by Byriel. Oy vey.
It’s gonna be that kind of game.
Tigers getting outhustled by a scrappy team.
1-13 start.
Just when you think this team is turning a corner… nope.
They just don’t play with confidence. They look terrified on every shot attempt.
They REALLY do not like defenders hands on them. St. Jo played off a little.
Defense looks a little better now but not hustling like they did against St. Joe’s. Lots of game left to recover, though.
They’re missing so many uncontested point-blank layups.
Defender goes by and concedes the layup/dunk… and they blow it anyway. 3 times already.
What is wrong with Dalen Davis? He’s missing layups by 6ft.
Uncalled goaltend. Refs have collectively decided to spot every opponent 10pts per game.
College replay “review” is so stupid - no way to review obvious missed calls the first 38 minutes. Then stop the game for 10 minutes every 5 seconds with under 2 minutes left.
Really frustrating game. Tigers pulled to within 5 then Furman shooters start nailing threes.
Furman working pick and roll to get low post mismatch
