Scott just isn’t a scorer. He should not be taking any shots that aren’t wide-open.
Welp, this team is humiliating itself yet again.
MH teams just don’t play with enough fire.
A comeback will have to start on D. Live ball turnovers, runouts after rebounding missed threes. Ball pressure will have to be more of a priority even if it gives up the occasional OR or drive to the rim.
Worst half of basketball since the 2nd half collapse against Yale at home two seasons ago.
It’s like they prepared to play Bradley in Round 2 and took Wright State for granted.
The team looks shell-shocked on the sideline. Not having any fun.
27-15 when I tuned in. Only got worse. Halftime. The hole may be too deep to climb out of.
Just what the doctor ordered in terms of ball pressure and runouts. Got to keep it up and make some treys.
Good to see the Tigers come out with some fire.
Offense looking better, but defense still swiss cheese.
This team is NOT going to be the Top 40 team I hoped they were.
But I hope they can be like the 2023 squad and learn from their (many) mistakes in time for a hot postseason run in March.
Wright State can’t miss. Even for wide-open 3s, they are on fire.
It’s already over. Embarrassing to get blown out like this.
It’s been a three-point shooting disparity mostly so far. Lots of good looks for Princeton not going in, and Wright State is shooting way above their average even when contested. But too much Raider dominance around both rims.
We’re getting a lot of open shots in this half and a lot have been in and out. Wright State has some really nice players and they are running a clinic on us.
Our double-teams on Noel are so bad. Lazy and late and no rotation to cover 3pt shooters.
The guys didn’t come ready to play. Very disappointed in their effort.
Wright State humiliating them like they’re Duke and we’re NJIT.
Forcing turnovers but not finishing at the other end. Stanton telegraphs drive and gets easily blocked.
Down to 14 with 12 minutes left. Raiders time out after Stanton trey–their coach is a tad nervous.
No Lee/Pierce/Davis right now. Half white-flag lineup, half-disciplinary benching.
Just checked in. Bizarre camera angle. Announcers: “Where does Princeton go for offense?” Jack Stanton buries a three. Down 14.
Playing a lot harder this half but we’re making so many mistakes. Too much hero ball from guys that are guarded by taller, more athletic players. But the lead down to 14.
This team is such a bummer to watch right now. The preseason hype clearly got to them.
No confidence. Lots of nerves. Every opponent plays harder than us.
Welp, if we’re gonna get whooped by a mediocre team, then we might as well get some reserves experience.
I like what I’m seeing from Seals. He’s big and strong and not afraid.
