Tigers with another awful, ugly start. Down 20-9. No flow on offense and sieve-like on defense. Mitch needs to get the guys ready to play better at the jump. Uggh.
I knew we were in trouble when Lee passed up an open 3 on the first possession… and ended up turning it over 20 seconds later.
They just look so low energy to start every single game.

The size difference is palpable here. Tigers must compensate with three-point shooting, forcing turnovers, and much better effort at rebounding.
Princeton playing bad one-on-one offense.
Raiders may not be a 21% three-point shooting team, but they aren’t 90% either. They’re coming back to earth a bit. But their big guy Noel is eating up Pierce down low.
Jack Scott with another one-on-one and a turn around fade away that barely hits the rim. Pass the damn ball.

Honestly glad to only be down 12 at this point. Making just enough little plays to stay in contact, like the forced traveling violation just now. But the number of blocked shots at the rim and forced mid-range tough shots says that the offense isn’t working right.
Pierce with 2 fouls already worries me.
Other bigs need to step up and be more physical.
Agreed. And it feels like we could get right back in this game if they knock off the bad shots.
Randolph Childress wants Lee to take over the game and go one-on-one more. That’s a real scorer’s perspective. Pierce with a nice OR follow-shot.
I agree with him. Lee has lost his swagger of late - he’s gotta attack the rim, shoot with confidence.
Wondering when Princeton got into Myrtle. They are playing like they left NJ this morning, had a bad connecting flight, and got in late.

I sound like a broken record about Scott but the guy gets the ball, goes one-on-one with no idea of passing the ball, and shot puts up an ugly shot for the third time tonight.
