ILT Penn

Interesting sub patterns today

What a shot. I thought Mullin hit that too

Disappointing result. Great performance from Power, thought Fran coached tremendously. Jones is a phenomenal coach who has given us a decade of great memories. Looking forward to many more

Congrats to penn
Epic performance by power

Our d strategy on him throughout the game definitely choked it away
Fail differently even on the last shot in reg
No inbound pressure
Just weird

Why they call it madness
Good luck next week!

How is the site manager allowing the terribly racist posts on this thread? James Jones is an amazing coach. Penn deserves credit for an incredible comeback.

Not sure but the poster is clearly just a jilted gambler with nothing better to do.

I am not allowing it. He has been banned, his 3 accounts deleted, his posts deleted, and his IP address blocked.

Look, fouling up three is known to be the right call. But even if you don’t, you absolutely need to press. Bizarre game management. Penn basically had to hit every single three down the stretch, and they did. That’s how they were going to have to win, so credit to them for doing so.

Congratulations Penn. Disappointing result for Yale. And thank you Administrator for deleting that racist nonsense and blocking more.

The last inbounds play was incredible
Not fouling
Not denying

But kudos to power.
That is a legendary performance

The zone gave us tons of issues as well. A lot of questionable decisions.

That was a hell of a game. Both teams played their guts out and we were fortunate to come out with the win.

I’m rationalizing this loss saying it’s karma for that massive Brown comeback that led to the Auburn win.

When Power has a performance for the ages, and a Penn team shoots 16-16 from the FT line, the basketball gods are clearly on our side. Just unbelievable.

You must use game situations to switch defense

Penn did it well late

We never did.
It was our downfall along with an epic shooting performance by power

Senior Cam Thrower’s 4-6 from 3 and 4-4 from the line is the back story too

Great game and great win for the Quakers. Power’s game was one for the ages but I can’t help thinking that James Jones was just out-coached, something I’ve rarely thought over the years (although I had the same thought after the Tigers’ big home win over Yale in January).

He was outcoached esp on defense

Happened 2-3x this ivy season

Came back to bite

Instant classic! Yale has to foul up 3. Obvious.
