Is 14-0 harder to do than 0-14?

Is 14-0 more memorable than 0-14 is egregious? I go with 0-14 as harder and more egregious than 14-0 is memorable - within the framework of Ivy League men’s basketball.

As I believe there have only been three winless teams, going winless appears harder:

63-64 Dartmouth

65-66 Dartmouth

02-03 Columbia

From 63-63 to 66-67 the Big Green only won 4 games 4-52!

14-0 has happened 14 times, but I suspect going undefeated is harder, as seven teams are twice taking their best shot. And in the post Ivy Madness / limited back-to-back weekends it has not happened - so likely harder today than pre schedule change.

13-1 has happened 19 times - perhaps 20 this season. Makes me feel 14-0 is all the more special.

Great work, JPD - more than I deserve! However, I wouldn’t use the word ‘special’ in such a casual manner, as to 0-14. And for all the criticism the current Columbia men’s coach has been, fairly or unfairly, subjected to, nobody can accuse him of ever having gone 0-14 (yet!)
