My favorite final score is 72-58 and that’s the score I expect our Columbia Lions to win by today in Wichita. Is it fair to assume that Riley Weiss will be selected as the MVP of the WBIT if Columbia wins by any score?

It’s either her or Perri if she has a stellar night today. Both of them and Mia have had an insane tournament. Wouldn’t be surprised if all three end up in the All-tournament team.

Good half. Perri isn’t herself but Riley and Mia playing great. Riley has really become a scorer this year, as opposed to primarily a shooter. Very patient, has a nice mid range game now. First ballot Hall-Of-Famer 2037 or soonest thereafter.
The pace is kinda insane, but Meg subbing nicely to keep the team fresh.
Anyone know who are all the kids in light blue behind the bench?
I think they are local kids. Free tickets and T-shirts to put some fans in the seats. There was also a big group that welcomed the team when they arrived at their hotel.

Bring on the Huskies!… kidding aside, what a great way to wrap up the season after a disappointing Ivy Madness in Ithaca. These kids stepped up when many teams would have packed it in. I’ll be the first to admit that I didn’t expect much from them in the WBIT.
St John’s, North Dakota St, California, and Wisconsin gotta feel a bit better right now. This team was on fire!
