This is my first post to this group, so I hope I don’t screw it up. I’ve watched PU basketball for a long time, and I’m wondering whether the Ivy League has ever had so much parity. The days of the killer Ps are long gone. It seems to me that anybody can beat anybody except, ironically, Penn. The games have been agonizingly close, but two road wins in what will be a difficult 14 game stretch isn’t a bad way to start. I believe that when Princeton plays its best basketball, it’s the class of the field, but we don’t often play our best basketball.

This season definitely feels like the most wide-open ever. Unfortunately, I feel it’s mostly for the wrong reasons - big NIL money and the no-wait transfer portal have made the Ivy a less desirable place for top talents to play and stay.
Of course, Princeton kept its twin stars so it’s hard for this team to make excuses. Just gotta play with the 40 minutes of intensity that they had against Rutgers and St. Joe’s. But for whatever reason, this team just comes out flat against most “low profile” teams.
It’s all Yale, Cornell and Princeton in that order, as of today. We will have more clarity on Saturday at about 430 pm.
