I saw the Yale players in town scrimmage yesterday and I can say assuredly that Yale will have the best 3 guards in league.
I don’t think the “best 3 guards” prediction will age well.
Trevor is at a new level. Wallace is a star and Jordan is certainly improved. I have seen them all play.
Question for Richard: are you saying that the three best guards in the Ivy League are at Yale or are you saying that the best guard threesome is at Yale?
I’m a big Yale fan and love Trevor, Courtney, and Jordan, but it was Alvin Loving (also 2nd year) playing with Trevor and Courtney this past weekend. Jordan was recovering from treatment.
Respectfully, I do the Yale games on WYBC so I know who the players are and was at the scrimmage. Jordan was there and a little nicked and did not scrimmage, but I know his game quite well. My reference was to the trio of Trevor, Courtney and Jordan. Princeton guards would be next on my list. Courtney may not start, but will see starter minutes. He is a unique talent. The Ivy top is very strong. Maybe even 1-5 teams. Take a look also at my IHO interview of James Jones.

Anyone who can play 16 minutes a game in the ACC can play at the Ivy level. What frightens me is his 50% FT shooting over 2 years. He’s got to pick that up.
