Thinking the same
Lions havenāt missed on Byriel yet. 6-6 or something like that.
Itās a miracle weāre only trailing 40-37. Could be a lot worse - Pierce found his mojo, Peters hit his 3s, Lee made some nice plays on both ends.
Our half court defense looked much better for a little while when we doubled their big when he got the ball. Philip is really not able to stop either of their bigs without a lot of help and thatās a big problem.
Heās gotta be more physical - at least until the refs blow the whistle.
Meanwhile, Cornell is obliterating Penn by 36 at the half.
Lee looks like a liability on defense too, honestly. He is taking the PG and always outpaces him
If the Tigers play defense straight up man with no double teaming or switching, we will lose this game. There are just too many holes.
Definitely have to be more creative on defense. Force some TOs in traffic. No oneās in foul trouble (only Happy has 2) so they have to be more aggressive until the refs stop them.
Pretty weak attempts around the rim. Missing bunnies.
Our guys suddenly looking really tight as everything is coming up short. I love the hustle, though.
Apparantly Peters does not have the Sam Jones short bank shot (for all you old guys).
When Caden rolls to the lane, the helper quickly plants wide in the lane and Caden has no answer, nor does anyone cut to the rim.
Yup. Someone needs to cut for Cade to dump it to there.
DLR appears to be on a gym bike next to the bench since half-time?!?
Blake with the great steal and dime⦠but heās hurt on the fall to the floor.
Oh man, I really hope heās alright.
His right calf didnāt look good, honestly
Looks like heās okay - back in the game!
Lee with his usual weak legs late in game.
Lee hasnāt taken a shot since the 17:59 mark. Got to get him involved down the stretch - heās our closer.
Byriel must sit. Go small.
It looked to me like Lee got pushed but it doesnāt matter. That is Xās 4th turnover tonight. Just canāt have that from your point guard. Tigers lead down to one. Uggh
