Washington appears to have two very good players one of whom is 6’4," but no Harmony Turner. I expect Columbia to defeat Washington. Does anyone have an update on the search for a new coach for the Columbia’s men’s team? I heard that Kevin Hovde is Columbia’s obvious top choice
ESPN has us as slight favorites, but honestly, it’s probably a 50-50. Their play-style is really similar to Princeton, so that should play in our favor. Young team with 3 +30min guards and a SR 6’4" forward that is not super determinant but a good rim protector. Slow play-style but very good shot selection. 3pt focused team that basically never goes to the line, which is good because we sometimes struggle with that. Bad at rebounding, in particular offensive rebounds, which I think might be our way of winning this game.
About the men’s head coach, last minute info suggest that we might have a coach already, and it’s not Hovde but someone that has been barely mentioned before.
Just guessing, but if we have a coach already, then maybe it’s Jason Crafton, who was hired. during the basketball season as the “Chief Program Strategist.”

Not sure we have the defensive quickness necessary.
We need some quick help on defense and not shoot at every oportunity we have on ofense

Man, this team is special. This coach is special. What they’ve built is remarkable. Hard to imagine there are many better coaches out there than Megan Griffith right now. Go get another one on Saturday.
