Maybe these NIL payments won’t be sustainable either but unlike the LIV golfers, the window of opportunity for college kids is exceedingly short. I don’t like the way the system is working but it would be hard to tell someone to pass on the money on offer. As James has suggested previously, the system can create opportunities for the Ivies with incoming frosh who in earlier times might have gone to a Power conference. The law of unintended consequences has not been repealed.

to his credit so many players on offer he feels he improved it but not without losing some young pieces. way it is in power 4 esp when not a blue blood.
the real surprise is the depth of infrastructure they have- gm, scouting dept you name it.
this is not simple and confirms forgetting fin aid related tax issues…we cannot replicate this by throwing a few $s here and there. glad we didnt try
