Even if he’s gonna be fine, I don’t see any way he plays in the tournament next week (3 games in 3 days).
Jack Stanton has a real opportunity to step up. I hope he seizes it.
I was feeling OK until the DD injury, which is brutal for this team. Hope Davis recovers quickly for his and the team’s sake. I would like to see Seals get some run.
Northeastern was a poor shooting team, but the Tiger D was still much better, although inconsistent. As usual as well, when they could get ball pressure and/or deflections, they were fine.
Still struggling to finish at the rim, which is maddening. Huggins, though, made a couple of nice inside moves and scored, so yay there. Fewer el stinko possessions, but still way too many bad turnovers.
I shudder to think what will happen offensively without DD to run things. In principle, they could all start moving without the ball to give the guy in possession good outlets, etc., but that hasn’t been the predominant mode so far. Stanton will have to be better
