A few requests have been made to create an Off Topic Forum. I have not up to this point because I’m going to bet $100 it’ll turn into a politics rabbit hole with people yelling at each other in which I have no appetite to mediate.
With that said, I’m of open mind. Let’s start a vote and please provide any suggestions you may have. Thanks!

In an unexpected twist, what began as a humble college basketball forum has morphed into a national political battleground, say sources close to the site’s administration. “After multiple requests for an ‘Off Topic’ forum, I reluctantly opened the door to what became a minefield of conspiracy theories," said the site’s moderator. Major forums on the site are now titled “Caucus Corner” and “Impeachment Impressions," with basketball threads phased out in favor of discussions on the true meaning of democracy, hidden messages in political speeches, and whether or not the Electoral College should be, as one user puts it, “benched indefinitely.”

I greatly appreciate the time and work you’ve put into this Board and think it’s running very well now. It’s very easy for others to request you to do other things which take up your time while taking none or little of theirs. Sometimes the suggestions are good ones. But unless you consider an Off Topic Board to be something you’ll enjoy, even with the headaches of moderating, I suggest you get back to those who want such a Board and offer suggestions on how they can construct it and run it.
