I wonder if his shots were mostly open off of movement or dribbling or if he demonstrated his uncanny ability to hit them with a defender like three inches away.
Most are off one dribble with a scrambling defense. Leads the G League in 3s made. I imagine he gets a shot at some point but the Clippers are likely to make the play-in game so seems unlikely it’s this year. He will be attractive for Greek teams given his name/heritage. Tough to see how his defense is holding up and how he’s moving off-ball in just the highlights.
Poulakidas is probably my favorite Yale player ever, the Auburn game tape is just unreal.

Showed some off-ball movement on that video, but nothing spectacular except for the ultra-smooth catch-and-shoot motion. He also had a stepback and a sidestep with one dribble to avoid the close-out. Pretty amazing when he gets locked in like that.

who knows where this goes but poulakidas getting a 2 yr 2 way deal is great.
he also has already gotten his first nba minutes.
counting wolf that makes 3 yale kids touching an nba floor since ~2019 which is incredible.
this is certainly not bad for recruiting.
as a sidenote, i didnt know daniel and miye were related and i know daniel quite well having coached against him for 3 years.

Really cool. Broadcast said the Mavericks told him they signed him with the expectation that he’ll get a lot of opportunities to play.
