As we all know, athletes now have 2 potential sources of income: NIL groups who operate independently and revenue sharing with their school. Story this morning that the American Athletic Conference will require members to share at least $10 million with athletes (Army and Navy exempt). Similar to the other post about Davidson ramping up NIL, this is another example of non Power 4 + Big East schools doling out cash. This isn’t Texas, this is Texas-San Antonio and North Texas. It’s also Rice, a school with strong academics.
