Easy win over a D3 opponent, even without Nazir. Story was Williams was out for a leg injury but mainly precautionary.
No one needed to see what our best player could do against Maywood. Looks like Jon wants to keep the same style that the guys played under Brian Earl.
Hard to tell a lot from a D3 game, but from the order he used guys, my guess is that Fiegen, Noard, Ragland, Okereke and, of course, Williams will start; Baldwin, Nix, Kiachian and Beccles will be first off the bench with Mateen Rafiq being the first Freshman; and Hinton and Cain will be trying to earn minutes. Lots to shake out. The rest of the roster essentially only played in the last 12 minutes and did not stand out.
We’ll learn a lot more Friday v. Samford.
