Opens Princeton -8 1/2 O/U 141 1/2

Seems generous for a Princeton team that hasn’t been that good recently.

Russian roulette is less risky than betting on Ivy men’s hoops.

I wonder if we’ll see any major lineup/rotation changes. Will Pierce sit out a game (if he’s banged up)? Will Byriel start again? Will Stanton get big minutes? Lee needs to shoot and score a ton this weekend.

The offense needs defibrillation. Someone’s gotta step up.

Not if you’re betting against them.

Fading the Tigers has been a very profitable bet this season, both on the spread and the money line.

Turnover fest early - 7 for Harvard. 6 for us. Too much overthinking, passing up good shots then turning it over 5-10 seconds later.

Pierce just isn’t right and I don’t think it’s injuries. He’s still rebounding like his old self, but he’s missing all these bunnies at the rim. He needs a “get right” confidence game this weekend.

Happy with an 7-0 by himself (and a blocked 3 on defense)!

Once he has another year, another offseason under his belt, he’s going to be the traditional big we need.

41-29 lead at the half. Nice recovery after that sloppy start.

Happy is playing confident. Peters is hot again. Lee is Lee. Pierce just focusing on rebounding and defense - and that’s just fine. Letting the game come to him while others score.

Gotta put Harvard away early in the 2nd half. Make them pack it in and save their energy for Penn.

Nice surge in last 5 minutes but a lot of what we have seen in recent games. Makes a big difference when Peters hits his shots. Lee’s propensity for ill-advised passes shows little sign of improving and Davis still way off.

I wonder how long Harvard will contiue with Amaker. Nowadays he seems to regularly get the fewest results with his talent.

Or maybe Dartmouth.

I remember reading somewhere that Amaker: 1) Basically has a lifetime contract. 2) Makes ~$1M per year.

Personally, I think Harvard would be foolish to let him go. At least wait and see over the next 2 years - NIL and the transfer portal are going to make the Ivy look very different very soon.

Lee, Pierce, Poulakidas, Mbeng… they’re the last group of “ride or die” Ivy stars. Once they’re gone, I expect that the league will be a lot weaker but more wide open.

I belive the $ 1M is the total of all payments, not his basketball salary alone.

And I suspect Harvard will some day start looking for a return on its investment. They didn’t break the ivy mold to keep finishing 5th or worse.

Absolutely filthy moves by Lee! That spin-cycle bucket on Lesmond is why he’s an NBA talent.

Columbia rolling over for Brown. Is Rubio De La Rose out for the season? Or is he gonna come back just in time to ruin our season?

Cornell leading Yale 71-68. Not sure what result we want there. A shaky Big Red is probably more “valuable” than a very slightly less confident Yale.

Bad turnovers keeping Harvard alive. What else is new?

Limping to the finish line. Just win, baby!

Harvard is playing for their season with Brown heating up. They’re not going to roll over.

These refs… they seem to know the spread.

For once, I want to get some homecourt advantage.

Weird ending. Despite the 76-71 margin, it wasn’t really close (kinda like the Yale loss, only reversed).

Refs clearly had the under, giving Harvard endless FTs toward the end, including a bizarre technical on Davis at the end (2 more FTs). Respect to Amaker for knowing it was BS and not fouling further.

Xaivian with a monster game. Pierce looked better tonight when he didn’t force shots. Just focus on rebounding, passing and defense. Other guys can score.

He had 25p/6r/6a. I’ll suffer the 3-4 dumb mistakes he made for the 9-10 moments of brilliance.

Without Lee, we’d be worse than Penn.

Yale comes back to beat Cornell… I can live with that.

I really, really, really don’t want to face Cornell in the ILT semis.
