Name to keep an eye on: Julia Scott. No relation (AFAIK) to Joe or Jack or Leah. She’s a 6’3" forward from Nanuet, NY, who plays for Albertus Magnus HS in Bardonia. They won the state championship last year.
She has a ton of offers from Big 10 schools (Penn State, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan), Big East (Xavier, Villanova, Providence, St John’s), Ivy (Princeton, Harvard, Columbia), ACC (BC, Syracuse, Clemson, Louisville, Florida St) and many others. Courtney Banghart follows her on Twitter but I don’t know if UNC has made a formal offer. Not aware of any decision she’s made.
Last Princeton hoopster to come from Rockland County, NY? Howard Levy. Would love to see her follow in Howie’s footsteps.

Some recent developments in Class of ‘30 recruiting. First, Julia Scott committed to Clemson (wrong Tigers) in September, so she’s off the board. To prior recruits Mei-Ling Perry 5’11” SG from La Jolla Country Day, and Ava Yoon, 5’8” PG from Sidwell Friends, the coaches have added 6’0” SG/W Draden Moss from Memorial H.S. in Houston:

And finally(!), an international player: Eva Smith, a 6’2” SG/W from Perth, Australia. Notably, she plays with the Perry Lakes Hawks, the current employer of Grace Stone:

So, she’s been vetted by a very reliable scout. Highlights showing her skills:
Class of 2026 Eva SMITH - 6’2" - Wing/Guard - 2025 U18 National Highlights
Looks like a pretty decent recruiting class so far.
Thanks for the update.
Is not the roster a little thin this year?

I believe only 11 players listed.
Barely enough to have a practice team.

In the old days, there were plenty of very good HS players on the club teams who could have filled in for practice. I wonder if the same holds true for the women now?
Intuitively I thinks less likely for women. Cooper Mueller came over from the lacrosse team. I don’t know how many of the various women’s teams were two-sport athletes.
Maybe some of the coaches can practice with the team.
I believe Julia Johnson (Sydney’s daughter) was on some recruiting lists (like PrepGirlsHoops) last year for basketball, but she was recruited by Sean Driscoll to play soccer - and due to key injuries is now a starting center back for Women’s Soccer. But I’d be surprised if she joined the basketball team after soccer season. Unless there are some injuries, maybe.
I wonder if her shot is similar to her dad’s?
