I watched some of the game against Duquesne, a loss. They clearly miss Kaitlyn Chen, Ellie Mitchell, and Chet Nweke, most of all Chen, IMHO. Defense was not as stifling as we have come to expect. Work to be done.
Agreed, Chen and Mitchell were dominant, game-changing players. St. Rose has her moments but has not shown she can take over a game. Lots of talent but not a clear identity at either end of the court at this point. And Duquesne was very good and exposed those gaps.
The point guard from Duquesne seemed to get to the rim anytime she liked.
