St. Joe’s might be pretty good. They beat Richmond in their conference tournament last year after losing to Spiders twice by 8 points each time during regular season. Looks like their top 3 scorers from that team graduated, but they’ve started this season 3-1.
Columbia was struggling to get points today. Not sure how this is going to go for them this year.
Btw, curious why coach Griffith was keeping her starters in and calling timeouts in the last minute when down by 16.
My guess is that she was trying to narrow the deficit as much as possible to minimize the damage from a bad loss’s effect on our NCAA NET ranking.
