Yale 2: Electric Boogaloo

Vegas has the spread as Yale -6.5. Luke Benz, Kenpom and Torvik all favor the Bulldogs by a score in the neighborhood of 77-69.

Do I think the odds are in our favor to do the unthinkable? No.

But wouldn’t it be fun if they did.

The “unthinkable” is Penn beating Princeton and Dartmouth beating Harvard (more the former rather than the latter). I can see Brown winning this game.

Poulakidas was hot today in the second half. Even though Yale led by four at half, I thought Brown was outplaying the Elis for much of the half. Yale did better on the boards in the second half and turned up the defensive intensity. Now Yale faces Princeton - they need to beat the Tigers for a third time this season (a challenge against any team) and if they do, then again with whoever comes out of the Cornell-Dartmouth semifinal. Go Bulldogs!
