Who are next Ivy transfers?

Brown plays significantly bigger than Slajchert. Clark is so slight and seemed to get knocked around. Defensive choices were limited because he only could guard small guards. Brown is thicker and therefore handles switches and bigger assignments more effectively. I think more or Mike Smith than Slajchert among Ivy guards. So I think Brown would be easier to “hide” defensively for a power conference school. Not that I want to see him go anywhere.

Mike Smith?

Hes saying mike smith from columbia who transferred successfully to michigan a few years ago is a more comparable situation to sam than clark

Thank you. Comparable, I can see; could Sam lead a team to the Elite Eight in twelve months? No.

Owusu-Anane to SMU. Big get for Andy Enfield.

Gianni Cobb from Columbia entered the portal today. Louis Lesmond from Harvard entered as a grad transfer.

Owusu-Anane killed Princeton last year. I really like his game–he could help SMU a lot.

Ivy Hoops Online reports that Robert Hinton is “definitely” coming back to Harvard next year.

They caught up with him at the ILT—he was there to cheer on his brother on Cornell—so that seems pretty clear. Would be massive for Harvard, and for the league, to keep a talent like that.

That would be great for the league. I hope he does return even if it makes Princeton’s season harder.

Unless something changes, next season might be the last year of high-quality Ivy men’s hoops.

this is great news. he is terriific.

yale will be down next year.

but their class is legit and this prophecy wont be true in a few yrs

assuming groves and wallace jr arent picked off bf they enroll. they might. they are that good.

daniel is in. he will be a terror for this league in 2 years

Harvard already had two of our incoming recruits poached for next season. Elzie Harrington, a top 50 shooting guard whose dad is best friends with Amaker and was our best recruit ever, decommitted to go to USC. And Ebuka Okorie, a nice-looking, if undersized, combo guard, decommitted for Stanford. Turns what would have been a massive class into an average one. Still got some good size and athleticism coming in but man, Hinton and Harrington together would have been something special.

yale flies under the sun on their class.

none of these kids is viewed as legit nationally.

but each of them is particularly 1-4. not sold on our 5 but he is a princeton type and can play a role if we keep samson for 2 more yrs

nolan groves might win mr bball in mn. they are going to hire a new coach soon. he might get picked off

New Celtics owner wharton mba but Dartmouth undergrad soccer player (as was his son)

Sam brown has entered the portal

AK Okereke graduating early and transferring

that’s a big blow for the IL. he is a beast. he should be in high demand and he knows this (tampering).

Being reported that AJ Levine has entered the portal.

That is a huge loss for Cornell
and the Ivies. He was among the
League’s best returning players.
Unbelievably, he walked on at
Cornell.
Best of luck to him!

Boy losing Okereke is killer. James’ takeaways are right - just not sure how we can possibly compete with these paydays unless we change.
