I saw an interesting interview with Bruce Pearl where he said they deliberately focused their transfer recruiting on lower-level-conference players because they a) were genuinely excited to be part of a big-time environment with better facilities, coaching attention, etc. rather than entitled b) they felt they could add value there via nutrition, coaching, etc.
A penn coach, not bb, recently told me they are focusing on d2 d3 players for the same reasons, looking at the better academic schools
AJ Levine posted on instagram a shot of himself in a Penn uni with a large smiley face emoji. Safe to say heās not leaving.

Ryan Cornish looking to grad transfer (obviously out of eligibility at Dartmouth)
Rumored to be looking for $2 million and a Lamborghini.
How does he have eligibility? He played four years at Dartmouth
He doesnāt, heās making a hail mary play for some sort of waiver
Dingle tried that in court and lost. Ivies just donāt get that 5th year.
Cornish wasnt even in school during covid
I know the penn seniors are hoping the ncaa grants everyone five years of playing timr
It appears that Langford has decommitted from Harvard as well. He appears to be going to San Jose State instead. Tough, if true.
Yep. Of the four original players in our 2025 class, three have decommitted now. Weāve added one replacement so far, but thatās it.
Sure seems like Amaker might have told them that heās leaving, either now or in a yearās time. Itās hard to explain losing a guy to San Jose State otherwise. (Harrington and Okorie leaving for USC and Stanford, respectively, at least made sense, as painful as it was)
Lee in the portal per his agent, dual tracking with nba
I feel after last season he needs a year of exposure at highest level

Cooper Noard screws Cornell over by bailing out with just a few hours until the portal closes
Per On3, Okereke has committed to Vanderbilt.
Thatās wild. The transfer portal has severely impacted Cornell, but great news for Yale and resurgent Penn
